Surgical Information

General Pre-Surgery Instructions (Inpatient & Outpatient):

• Do not eat or drink anything after midnight the night before your surgery, including the morning of your procedure.
• If you take blood-thinning medications (including aspirin or aspirin-containing products), please inform your doctor or nurse in advance.
• If you are taking diabetic medications, notify your doctor or nurse so they can provide specific instructions if needed.
• Be sure to inform your care team of any vitamins, herbal supplements, or dietary supplements you are taking.
• You must have a responsible adult available to drive you home after your procedure. You will not be discharged without a driver.
• Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home.
